রাজধানীসহ দেশের ওপর দিয়ে বয়ে যাচ্ছে মৃদু থেকে মাঝারি ধরনের তাপপ্রবাহ, যা আরও পাঁচদিন অব্যাহত থাকতে পারে। তবে চট্টগ্রাম, খুলনা ও বরিশাল বিভাগের দু-এক জায়গায় হালকা বৃষ্টি/বজ্রসহ বৃষ্টির সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। সারাদেশে দিন এবং রাতের তাপমাত্রা সামান্য বাড়তে পারে বলে জানিয়েছে আবহাওয়া অধিদপ্তর।
মঙ্গলবার (৩০ মে) সকাল ৯টায় আবহাওয়া অধিদপ্তরের ২৪ ঘণ্টার পূর্বাভাসে এসব তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে। পূর্বাভাসে বলা হয়েছে, লঘুচাপের বর্ধিতাংশ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ ও তৎসংলগ্ন এলাকায় অবস্থান করছে। এ অবস্থায় আগামী বুধবার (৩১ মে) সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত অস্থায়ীভাবে আংশিক মেঘলা আকাশসহ সারাদেশের আবহাওয়া প্রধানত শুষ্ক থাকতে পারে। মঙ্গলবার দেশের সর্বোচ্চ তাপমাত্রা রেকর্ড করা হয়েছে রাজশাহীতে ৩৮ দশমিক ৬ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস। ঢাকার সর্বোচ্চ তাপমাত্রা রেকর্ড করা হয়েছে ৩৭ দশমিক ২ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস।
