আগামী শনিবার রাজধানীর বেশ কয়েকটি এলাকায় প্রায় ৭/৮ ঘন্টা গ্যাস সরবরাহ বন্ধ থাকবে। গ্যাস পাইপলাইনের জরুরি রক্ষণাবেক্ষন ও অপসারণের জন্য বন্ধ থাকবে গ্যাস সরবরাহ।
তিতাস গ্যাস ট্রান্সমিশন অ্যান্ড ডিস্ট্রিবিউশন কোম্পানি লিমিটেড এর পক্ষ থেকে শুক্রবার এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানিয়েছে । এতে বলা হয়েছে, শনিবার সকাল ১০টা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৬টা পর্যন্ত মগবাজার, মৌচাক, মালিবাগ রেলগেট পর্যন্ত রেললাইনের উত্তর পার্শ্বে নয়াটোলা, গাবতলা, গ্রিনওয়ে, পেয়ারাবাগ, মধুবাগ, মগবাজার টিঅ্যান্ডটি কলোনি এলাকায় গ্যাস সরবরাহ বন্ধ থাকবে।
ওই সময়ে নির্দিষ্ট এলাকার আশপাশের এলাকায়ও গ্যাসের চাপ কম থাকতে পারে। এ জন্য গ্রাহকদের কাছে আন্তরিকভাবে দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেছে সংস্থাটি।
